You can take issue with that if you want (I probably would; Haack isn't Michael Vick but he's also not a statue. By the same token, Nixon isn't Dan Marino but he's got the ability to make the necessary throws), but he's not saying that Nixon passes better than Haack.
----WOW Brock ---thanks for restoring my credibility!!! Well I think so, but waiting on his apology!!!

-----And Sir your apology is accepted with my greatest humility as to the 2 times I have been wrong----JOKE---no problem but this is a very entertaining issue I thing you would agree!!!

Sitting in front of him at basketball games has honed my Boomereese translator, for good or for bad.

Also, just because haack isnt great at the zone read... Doesn't mean he can't run. Lots of QB's are good running that don't run the zone read.

Hhave you seen Nixon enough to know that he isn't a great passer?

We all have seen Hud "play it safe" and do just enough to win a game. Maybe that was the reason Nixon didn't throw the ball very much in N.O. Bowl.

Just playing Devil's Advocate. I'm in the #FreeHaack group But Nixon is a college QB so he has to be able to throw the ball a little.

He can throw it, but I've watched more than just games also of both guys. He would throw less than Broadway I could almost assure you of that. If that's the direction we wanna go and gives us the best chance to win so be it. I'll say it again, read the articles, go watch practice, count the snaps...they know who their guy is right now. If you haven't been to practice, they all get chances with the 1's but they aren't getting equal snaps. There is also still the trust issue there as well, I'm all for giving guys chances but unfortunately he is 1 slip up from being gone and it won't be hud's decision. Has anyone see haack run in an offense designed for his strengths? Has anyone seen our RB's play in a box without 8,9 or 10 guys in it? I'm all for letting it just play out, but nixon has been in games with an offense designed for his strengths, brooks has not.

----The Zone inside and outside read are the hottest things going---even the Seahawks ran some of it-----Check out Auburn and Oregon on some clips----I think that our line is better equipped for that offense and as you stretch the field with play action, the passing game does get a better setting or so it is suppose to---One of the best advantages of the read is that you can isolate a great DL and make him run assignment defense through blocking schemes----Even the base dive or counter with Nixon becomes a great play!!! And again if we go the other route, HUD is the guy to decide!!!

This is the main reason why I am excited about Haack leading the offense this season.

McGuire is going to be unstoppable in an offense that is a legitimate threat to burn you over the top or across the middle.

Fuselier is going to be an all-conference player as well With Haack under center.
