Thread: Favorite Concessions Item?

  1. #1

    Default Favorite Concessions Item?

I'll be in town tomorrow to complete a stadium review of the Tigue . I'm fairly familiar with the area so I know what to look out for as far as area restaurants and things to do. Looking forward to another poboy at Olde Tyme Grocery.

Is there a favorite or unique concession item you'd recommend?

Telling P.W.D. the secret "who sent you" was a concession.

I would try some Deano's pizza. They are a local restaurant with a little stand set up behind the grandstand. I think Sodexo is also doing the fried shrimp poboys this time of year. That stand is along the 3rd base side by the beer trailers. The rest of it is standard concession stuff.

But doing a stadium review and talking about food that most can't eat isn't fair.

UnFair to who? What? Doing a review of the tigue and not including the cooking club would be unfair considering what they do for our team, their families and the opposing team. Ever since Sodexo took over there is no longer anything special about our concessions. You are welcome to join the cooking club

Get the Deano's pizza when you walk in. It'll be fresher, plus I've had trouble getting any past the early innings.

Looks like it happens often and to other folks besides us. To me, it would seem wise to bring more pies.

You're the winner in my book. I had an Abita Strawberry instead...just seemed right on a perfect spring day. I was impressed with the many different concession options and craft beer selection.

Don't know if you guys noticed it, but catfish man was back on Friday. Huge portion of fried filets with fries for eight bucks.

    Big Time.
