Too many games where we can't even score as many runs as we have errors. Ugly.

last night was bad. not bad as in 'oh we lost but showed up' bad as in 'we made horrific fielding mistakes and we're lucky the score wasn't 8-1'

sloppy play all around. you can't make 4 errors AND leave people on base. won't make it past the tourney.

On top of the four errors there were a couple of mishandled balls that weren't errors but cost us as well. It's not like its freshmen making these mistakes either. We've got guys that were solid last year that are making mistakes.

At this point, it's something that is in all their heads.

I think we are really missing leonards at 3b. He was a great all around player but locked up 3b and I haven't seen anyone do just that yet.

I agree. I think many people overlook how good Leonards was at third. I'd like to see Robbins get a little more time at third. I know we haven't seen him there because the coaches were trying to maximize the hitting lineup, but we need to get some consistency in the field.

I think it has more to do with the coaches not trusting anyone else at CF than it has to do with maximizing the lineup. We don't have a true CF on the roster, and Robbins is the closest thing. Herrington would be a close second, but he's struggled with the bat early on...

Actually Robbins might play a decent center field but he was recruited as a short stop.

Need to solidify the middle, if we can do that by getting trosclair back we have many more combinations at 3rd between Conrad, shugg, Powell and Robbins... Also more flexibility with DH... Right now you have to have trosclair there. Looks like they are giving clement a shot to play CF... Hopefully he can be at least solid there. It's crazy how missing that one piece puts a limit on so many possible combinations.

Does anyone know the progress of Trosclair's rehab? Would be a good question for Billy on the next S-Note interview...
