Remember Hunter will be focused just on kicking off and the college weight system will get him stronger so the 10 yards further back will not effect his %..

I think the paper is wrong. has to be more than 63%

63% might be the percentage where they took a knee. More probably went into the endzone but the opponent elected to run it out.

Just a guess.

It's where you go in between middle school and college (if you so choose).

Mechanics are poor??? I saw this kid play 3 times this season. He put the ball out of the endzone on several kickoffs, twice putting the ball between the uprights. Leave him the heck alone and allow these poor mechanics to take him all the way to the NFL where he can make millions with that poor form!

This is a good point and I'm not qualified enough, nor have I seen him play enough to know whether he truly has poor mechanics or not. However, the lack of mechanics does come in when a kicker is kicking under extreme pressure which he's likely to see in college assuming he does any type of placekicking along with kickoffs. If he's just kicking off, I don't care what he looks like doing it as long as he's getting it in the endzone. If he can do this consistently the way he kicks now, who cares?
