It's OK. I give up. I've decided to resign because some of the coaches don't like me and "my approach" on the job. It's my fault that some grown men decide to complain to a third party instead of attempting to resolve a conflict or problem directly with me. (Something most coaches have done when issues came up in the past.) That's much worse than the multiple-death threats I got in my previous jobs for just reporting the news. I'm a pathetic failure, unable to ever break news or provide quality or interesting content for readers. I've always made it about me and not proving that newspapers are still valuable sources for breaking news in a digital age. How I lasted this long in the business is beyond me.

Obviously, I'm being a smartguy and having some fun with some previous comments. Sorry to disappoint anyone who thought I was serious. Happy early April Fools and Merry Christmas.

Something I forgot to mention was that the school's new media policy for men's basketball doesn't allow for interviews the day before or after games. Or on game day. Under that policy, Lee wouldn't have been available to be interviewed until after Wednesday's game at Louisville.
That's something that I assumed others would know.

Lee and I have talked. I'm still on vacation in Atlanta, but I will follow with a blog on the subject in the near future.

Did you talk to BOP and tell him to stay out your business also?

BOP did not resort to name-calling, so I felt no need to say anything. As Brad has suggested, I'm ready to move forward and onto bigger things.
