I've asked this before and understand that it doesn't matter all that much, BUT all of these guys are recruited by SWAC, 1AA and NAIA schools. In many cases, we are the ONLY 1A school offering. When all is said and done, our recruiting class will be in the bottom 100 again. I hope these guys are talented and prove to be good recruits. Hard to get people enthused about another bottom 10 recruiting year.
Not sure how you missed it:
Stokes: Offers from Western Michigan (MAC), North Texas (Sun Belt) and UL (Sun Belt).
Smith: Offers from Memphis (Conference USA), UAB (Conference USA) and UL (Sun Belt).
What I find funny is that the Cajuns are in the bottom 10 recruiting by the "experts" but have won six games in four of the past five years. If the recruits were really that bad, they wouldn't win more than one or two games a year.

Didn't Smith sign with West Virginia out of high school. That would have been after 2007 which is the year that the Mountaineers late season lost to Pitt prevented them from playing in the BCS title game. Someone who was good enough to sign with a school of that caliber has to have some ability.
Yes, Smith had committed to Ole Miss and Western Kentucky before signing with West Virginia. Obviously he has some talent, but that was two years ago. I didn't mention West Virginia because the question was about current offers. Smith would have had more offers at this point if not for his knee injury early in the season. Most schools moved on to healthy recruits at that time. In the end, he could be a steal for the Cajuns. He will definitely get a chance to play right away with Hall Davis gone.
Pryer missed a good portion of the season due to injury. Walker was a three-star but not higher likely due to his lack of size and big-time offers outside UNC.
