I saw ZERO effort from Gradnigo... and vey little from Bureau who did not score AT ALL.

I saw great effort from Johnson (as usual) and Daigle.

Well, first I applaud you for your "guts" in reacting to a comment I made days ago, prior to the Centenary debacle. However, I was watching a team that had played much harder thus far in the year compared to last year. I also noted that there were still players like Gradnigo and Bureau that continue to unimpress me with their spirit and hustle. I did not watch the game but only listened to it on the radio. I turned it off with about 3 minutes to go and it definitely seems like they played like an uninspired bunch. If you want to call me out, why not do it when the comment is made instead of looking at it in hindsight?

Yes, Really. Why don't you read my comments above. It's pretty easy for many to sit and reflect on past comments because they can't or refuse to make an assertion on something at the current time. However, my assessment was based on games that I had seen up to the Centenary game as I didn't attend. Maybe you should have read them almost a week ago and commented then. However, you probably did but chose to refrain because maybe what was said made the smallest bit of sense. I don't think I assumed anything falsely and I only noted that compared to last year, this team has played much harder yet with no improvements in the Win-Loss column. I also noted that while they played harder, they also lack the chemistry of a winning team and the overall team concept that so many of the great programs have. Good job calling me out. There are no blinders on here and I have no illusions as to what is going on with this program.

Touchy... aren't we. I didn't realize I was "calling you out". I only meant to reply to your comments. Didn't even look to see when they were made.

My comments, though, could have been made prior to last night. This is an uninspired, undesciplined, undercoached team... and I don't see any improvement from last year... record or otherwise.

Not touchy. I just know how things go around here. People tend to be very reactive and emotional, as you've seen, rather than looking at things over an extended period of time. Some people tend to just view things in a much harsher and negative outlook than some and use this as a sounding board to express their frustrations. I get that but I also tend to look at things in what I hope are more objective and logical ways and try not to post based on emotions of bad losses like last night. However, my post was always directed towards comparing this year and last year directly. Last year, I was sick with how our team fell apart due to personalities by both players and coaches and the fact that the team quit on the coach as well. This year, although they were playing poorly (which I pointed out and did not debate), they seemed to be more resilient, play harder and have better leadership by some such as T. Johnson. My main issues with our play up to last night were more fundamental, lack of focus and just an undersized team that was always was an underdog on the boards. I also previously mentioned that this team did not have the attitude nor the chemistry to become a drastically better team and that inconsistency was simply going to be a part, if not the theme for this year.

Point taken. I withdraw the sarcasm from my comment.
