Thread: Is a fifth New Orleans Bowl doable for UL?

Agreed, we actually was one of the schools who bought into the pinky promise. I think Farmer knew that was exactly a pinky promise and simply did nothing of value to get out. He wants in this conference, just cannot say it in public anymore.

Send your misgivings to Tee-Joe if you want to actually have any kind of impact, right now you are singing to the crowd.

Unfortunately, T-Joe is trying to find a way to tell Robe and Lotief that he will have to find a way to cut their small athletics budgets even more.

Neither have much of a budget now, they both raise the majority of their funds. But cuts will come across the board for the stipends, starting with travel cost for all sports. More bussing for Basketball and Football.

Can you imagine the upheaval if Big 12 commissioner called UT just Austin, or Pac 12 commish called Cal just Berkley? And this guy does it over and over and no one says a damn freakin thing..

Maybe the Cajuns can negotiate with Kentucky to borrow the plane and cover the gas for the game

Just thinking that it is pretty cool telling a kid about our schedule that you can almost be assured of a Bowl game every year---Really blowing up the idea of the fans and players and the entire Cajun Nation loving playing pre Christmas in NO!!!

I'm tired of the silence, excuses, politics, and am of the opinion that we have a unique product and therefore the opportunity to be the best we can be.
I WILL NOT buy into the fact that we cannot sell what we have to CUSA members.

Even before all recent upgrades and success, UL had more to sell than any of their recent invites.

All CUSA wanted was a target budget.
