I have long been a proponent of finding some way for the city to build something like the Sugarena in New Iberia somewhere around Scott for Lafayette Parish. Move the rodeo and the other events to there.

Dig out the Blackham floor. Drop it as low as you can. Fill in with seats. Spend as much as you can renovating that bad boy and watch it become something better than it ever was with the biggest home court advantage in the country.

I thought that was part of the approved $16 million for Cajun Dome? Closer/better seating?

More like 8", but it's not the size of the dot but how you use it!

The one I have is from a Cajundome promotion about 10 years ago. I'm sure I can't squeeze into that anymore.

Unlike the originals, those had a number of company promo's on the back. If it wasn't such a short turnaround, that would be a great promo for the Thursday game as well.

Rebounders Club is trying to put something together.

"Here is where we need help:
1. We need sponsors for "Red Dot" T-shirts. We are hoping to have 1,600 shirts printed. We are looking for either co-sponsors or a single presenting sponsor totaling $5,000.

2. We are also looking for a sponsor for student tickets. In order to allow the first 500 students in for free we need $3,500."

If anyone know anyone that can help let me know please.
