Im thinking about joining a fantasy baseball league, but i have never played. Has anyone ever played? Is it worth it?

I've played a head to head weekly points based keeper league for several years and love it.

I have Kershaw, so I'm happy.

I'll start one (non-keeper) for RP members if we can get 8, 10, or 12 people willing to play.

I've been in a season long roto league for about 5 years now. It's a marathon, but it's the ultimate test of one's fantasy capacity. Can you handle David Wright batting under .200 for the first month until he gets his head out of his ___? Can you not fall prey to the whims of Ike Davis and his swing first ask questions later approach to hitting? Can you keep your add/drops to a minimum over 5 months?

Have done a roto type league for many years. A lot of fun if you follow the game closely. Usually have just joined a public league on Yahoo. Much more intense if you join a league with people you know
