What's up with half being McNeese fans there? Was there an allotment for McNeese? Game got scary at the end, no quit in the Pokes, glad we won! Louisiana led the entire game except for one shinning moment for the Pokes, then our Ladies clamped down and got the job done! Congrats, Louisiana Ladies!

Brokebacks always get geeked about playing UL...they can't quit us. Their fans are congratulating themselves and their cheerleaders /____kickers for "traveling" so well for a one hour road trip.

I seriously can't remember this much going on at once with Cajun athletics.

Men's Basketball- makes it to 3rd round of postseason tournament

Women's Basketball- makes it to 3rd round of postseason tournament

Baseball- takes 2/3 to get back on track

Softball- redeems themselves today winning the 2nd game of doubleheader

Let's keep this train rolling!!!

I'm gonna say look back only to last year at this time. Men's basketball won SBC tourney and made the NCAA tourney! Women's Basketball had a good year, but this year tops that. I believe Softball was higher ranked and on their way to WCWS! We'll see how this year plays out. Baseball was ranked in top 5 ALL season and came within one win of CWS! Again, we'll see how the year plays out. So, overall I think last year at this time tops this year. But, it's a GREAT thing to be comparing the two, ain't it!!!?

Look at the shoes in the the bottom of the pic, red chucks, retro new balance, red chucks, red keds. Those guys look just like Z and his friends back in the day

Those are my families shoes. We all have the chucks.... I chose my retro new balance.

McNeese fans were louder than Cajun fans IMO.

Pretty disappointed in that. It got loud at the end after she sunk that 3 pointer with less than 30 seconds on the clock though!

Yes they were and that was disappointing. We had a large number of older fans in attendance and they clearly didn't match McNeese's enthusiasm. If it weren't for the group of parents and friends of the athletes in the first few rows, it would have been worse.

I think you can expect traveling fans to be younger, and louder on par, than the home balance of fans. Why wouldn't a lot of McNeese people come to Lafayette for any excuse? And to take down the almight "Louisiana" - icing on the cake. I have no issue with the fans they brought - they paid for their tickets didn't they? And we won... right?
