Head coach Garry Brodhead now has 44 wins. It's the most by a Cajuns coach in first 3 seasons (passed Ross Cook & J. Kelley Hall - 43).

It wasn't 1969 because I was at Blackham for all of the games. And when I was a senior at GHS (1968-69 year), we beat New Iberia, Cathedral and Lafayette High School to win the USL Tournament in Blackham in 1968. So it had to be earlier than 1968. (Incidentally, I was named the Tournament's Outstanding Player and broke all the earlier scoring records with 78 points--shameless self-promotion!!1)
