Just curious, but who decides the home team? Are they a Higher seed? If we win, will we get to host the quarters, or could we possibly have to travel EVERY game? Are the semis/finals held at a neutral site?
You pay for home games. I think we passed facilities not available. Perhaps we get a home game at some point.
Home teams are decided on who bid to host. We could not bid to host in the first two rounds due to arena availability. Were we to win on Saturday, we would likely host the third round (quarterfinals). Geography also plays a factor as it would be foolish to send us out west due to costs. Semi finals and finals are not played on a neutral site. Someone hosts there as well. Committee makes the decision as to who will be at home if remaining schools are all bidding to host. When it gets to that point, I imagine decision would be based upon the school most likely to have the best support.
Hopefully there will be a big crowd of supporters from our large alumni base in Houston. Afternoon game. Easy drive to Huntsville.
Game moved to 2 PM now.
Why was it moved to 2:00?
