The scheme or the players' talents??? going into the 5th year I would suspect that it is the run that keeps popping up

and that would be 2 damn good RBs in the 4 years but also QBs that could do there share---I haven't seen the Davis kid but heard he could run---Nixon I know can run---Haack has the least talent in this skill but is presumed to be the best of the 3 in passing skills---possibly the talent differential in Haack's talent in that area would decide whom we go with!!!

    1. Haack 2. Davis ... Nixion will be a running back by the end of the summer

I've said it before. Nixon is a great replacement for Harris.

----Everything you wanted to know about the QB race started today in the DA---Haack was the first one covered----What a great attitude and having met his parents on several occasions, great blood line!!! Didn't realize he is up to 220 lbs and seems to really want to do the cognitive work to be a great QB---Assuming that he is #1 has probably helped his attitude as he has been a good leader this Spring----Waiting on the next 2 articles and maybe some Dion Ray!!!

I've heard that Nixon's ball tends to have an upward sail on deep passes. He's a first look/first option passer, then tuck and run. He's extremely effective when he tucks which is what's keeping him in the "race". I watched Davis a few times and he will be a REALLY good QB. He's tall, lean, fast and has a great arm. Dion Ray will get his shot....not this year though. He will play something/somewhere because he's as athletically gifted as they come (i.e. McGuire)....

Haack has the tools and looks polished. He's got very deceptive speed and can cycle through multiple routes while remaining comfortable in the pocket. I'm extremely confident he'll be leading the team vs Kentucky. Haack will surprise some with his precise passing...something that we haven't seen here in a while.

We will know what Haack is made of when he has another USA game where everything goes bad. What will his mental attitude be after a horrible game?

This analysis sounds spot on! Coach Hudspeth will not announce anything until after spring, he will continue to push Davis and Nixon until the end. His comments about the competition narrowing are about pushing all three to continue compete and push each other. The race is for the #2 position and that is the battle to play close attention to the next few weeks. Dion Ray's skill set is as an athlete, that is why he had SEC offers.
