T-You are involved heavily in recruiting---Do you think a kid looking for the right school would be more impressed with any post season or none---I'll take the post season as I guess hardly any would want a school that didn't want to play MORE BALL!!! Really is there anything that this athletic dept does that you don't complain about???

Boomer, I see you have just waken from your nap!

Any contract that gives a coach a bonus for going to the CIT is ridiculous.

That's like offering HUD a "one game short of bowl eligibility" bonus if he goes 5-7.

    Man, that's dumb.

Apparently did not hurt them too much. They kicked our butts in football just two years removed. I also recall how you lamented them taking d-backs from us even after the bowl gaff.

In the past, one of the reasons all those upstarts have leapfrogged UL on to better conferences was their a"anytime anywhere" mentality.

The gear you run in dictates how smoothly you shift to the next level.

    THIS, is an anytime-anywhere game.

    Geaux-Cajuns.

Exposes David Walker's overall knowledge of the game, at the time.

    Brilliantly negotiated by Marlin.

Pretty sure that was for playing elite teams at THEIR facility. Not about playing Loyola, Louisiana College, and now indiscript tournaments.

Bet if I was of a mind I could find dozens of D Walker defenses you postulated while he was AD.

----So the Non-Bowl wasn't the sine qua non but juxtapose just that aspect it is a negative that would appear on a Ben Franklin type close!!! T would know more but I think there were parts to the decision about not taking a teammate etc!!!

Well after he took my credentials and killed the 48-Cajun phone line (UL schedule hotline) I was no fan.

After he made Robert Lee start over, I was no fan.

After he offered to forfeit all kinds of basketball games when the rule was murky at best, I was no fan.
