Congratulations! Nothing like having another man in the household, particularly if it gives you the voting power. I speak from experience....4 boys and 2 girls.

Nah, I'm just BSing. Mom always has the veto power, and that ain't no BS!!

I just wanted to add that Hunter Stover sent all 3 kickoffs through the uprights in the state championship game. I will also add he had a another good game at LB.

The kid is a heck of a player at both K and LB but I would project him at safety for college. He will end up playing somewhere either UL or say McNeese. I have been told by someone who follows the program close that in many games this year he outplayed DJ Welter who committed to LSU. I an not saying UL should give him a scholarship offer because I don't know what other LB's we have offered and we expect to get because maybe he is not high on our board. But I hope we have given this kid a real look. I believe just on kickoffs he is worth a scholarship because this could change field position by an average of 15 yards 3-5 times a game and you would have another good defender on kickoffs if a return was to take place.

Just another tid bit of information I heard, he made a 57 yard FG in practice at the dome this past week.

I believe his dad is Smokey Stover who played pro ball at linebacker for the KC Chiefs.

Smokey is his grandfather...played in the very first Super Bowl.

I spoke to a few folks over the weekend who are big Pio's and friends of Hunter's family. It appears as though he doesn't want to continue his career as only a kicker. He'd rather just go to college and live the normal college life.

His grandfather. Smokey played and won the 1962 and 1966 AFL Championship games for the Texans/Chiefs. That would be an old dad
