I'll make them a deal!
1) This season I'll buy my season tickets, 2) be a game day sponsor, 3) sit in the outfield this season, and 4) make a donation to the team...
and they will...
...bring back the old concessions with fair prices and get rid of the jerks with poor attitudes who worked in the concession stand last season. This change needs to be permanent!
I sure hope they don't expect us to pay normal prices, sit in the outfield, and continue to get ripped off at the concession stands!
When the new stadium is completed I sure hope that those of us with season tickets for many years will have first choice of seats in the new stadium. My fear is that we will get first choice with the understanding that we give an additional donation to the RCAF. I also hope that the price of tickets in the new stadium is in line with the prices we have paid in the past. I go to games to watch the team play ball and I was plenty happy with the old stadium.
I understand your position. Just don't be surprised that you could be half right. You drop your season tickets and you might find it difficult to acquire that brand new prime seating once it comes around.
In the business of big time college athletics it goes on all the time. I'm not defending it just pointing it out. Once they have the new grandstand they are going to have a much nicer product to market and I can easily see demand out stripping supply. Certainly happened in baseball when they went to the CWS and installed the chairbacks.
