We have 2 pretty good TE's... Both block better than graham ever has or ever will. We won a super bowl without graham, we had a prolific offense before graham... We moved the ball when graham was injured. I'm actually looking forward to Brees not staring him down and throwing it up for grabs. I'm sure we will add one in FA or draft.

nope.... It was New England on 10-13-13.. The Saints were 5-0 going into the game, and Graham was targeted 6 times with ZERO catches..

The Saints didn't play the Seahawks until December 2nd, and Graham was targeted 9 times with 3 catches for 20 yards and a TD.

Aquib Talib showed the WORLD how to defend Graham... and ever since then, anyone with a big physical corner has been able to shut him down.

You mean the game he limped off the field? Yeah that showed him.

Have to look at big picture.
Tuesday,David Hawthorne's base salary was cut from $2 million to $1.19 million in 2015 and from $4 million to $1.75 million in 2016.

Also Marques Colston's base salary dips from $6.9 million to $1.445 million in 2015 and from $7.7 million to $2.65 million in 2016

I think either Grubbs or Evans will be cut, while the other agrees to a salary reduction.

Are you talking about Graham or Talib? Graham limped off in the 4th quarter.

Talib left in the second half of the game, after he had already gotten in Graham and Brees' heads.

I must have not watched much of that game. I do remember this...

Face it Hawk, you gotta live with it, your team takes a tight end they owned and now they own. So will you be lauding him, or lynching him. The Beast has to be in the late autumn of his days, at least that is how the FAUXhawks treated him last season.

Tough to be a Seahawks fan right now...nothing to look forward to...except for a team that was one yard away from back to back Super Bowls...young core of players all signed up with only a few left to extend...being the defensive model teams are crafting their teams after. It would be so much easier to be a Saints fan. Don't have to worry about them winning much. Such a burden.

This atmosphere sounds like talk at my barber shop. They wanted Graham to get re-signed last year but thought Brees' salary prevents them from re-assembling a Super Bowl team. I really don't follow the NFL that close but it's apparent a lot of people really care about this team.

Hawthorne still gets a roster bonus of $2.5 mill this year, which is absolutely atrocious.

Graham was a luxury the Saints could not afford. When you draft as bad as the Saints do you slowly start to fall apart at the seems. Loomis and Company need to finally have a productive draft. They have not had one in many years.
Bottom line...if they get a productive player at 31 it will be a good move. If not, I think you will see a front office shake up. Recent history says the Saints are OK at finding talent in the first round, but after that they are atrocious.
