Saints: Jimmy Graham

We were gonna eat it anyway, this doesn't scream money to me, locker room and injuries... Ever since he got his payday all he wants to do is fly his plane. I'm actually looking forward to Brees not staring him down every play or him running around as a decoy with one arm held against his body. Who knows, might work out for both teams. Also makes sense if saints want to run ball more.

If I'm lining up against Seattle and I see...Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, and Jimmy Graham...I'm gonna double Jimmy Graham.

I'm not going to get down on Jimmy Graham. He was a great player for the Saints, regardless of the injuries he sustained over the last couple of years. But the Saints have not been the same team over the past couple of years, in large part because of a serious decline in the play of the offensive line! I think one of the main reasons Drew Brees has looked human lately is because of the added pressure he has been getting. Much of that pressure has come right up the middle and through the center of the line! It makes no difference how good our recievers might are if the QB doesn't have time to throw the ball.

I hate loosing Graham, but I think this is a good deal for the Saints. I like both Ben Watson and Josh Hill at the TE position and think they will be adequate replacements for Graham.

I guess only time will tell, but I don't think this is necessarily a bad deal for the Saints, especially if they but the extra 1st round draft pick to good use!

Depends on if I have a big, physical corner or not... if I do, I am going to put him on Graham, and bump him off his route at the line. That's how Belichick was able to control him, and once other teams saw that, it was game over if they had someone to match up.

Luckily one of the few teams that have been able to do that...is not going to be defending him for at least three years.
