I lived in New Orleans when Floyd was coaching there. I don't necessarily believe the progam was as clean then as some think. Obviously, they did not have finances to do anything in that regard. Academically, they were heavy into the JUCO's then and I always wondered about their academic progress.
But Mike, its hard to have it both ways at this level. It seems likely that we will at some point in the future have to continue to dip into the JC ranks as well with the amount of players we will lose in the next 2 years. Evans was sinking our APR but people didn't say much considering his success in his last 5 years or so. Again, this is all conjecture considering that Floyd will not be here nor even be a candidate if/when the job comes available. It's hard to say which way we should go at this point because we don't know the potential candidates that may be available when that happens.
