Thread: Pelicans

  1. Default Re: Pelicans

Pelicans a few games back had the third best record against winning teams in the league. Good thing they have the hardest remaining schedule. The lost to a bad Boston team just a few days ago.

My Navy son who is away from his family right now due to being on assignment is a huge Pelicans fan. He subscribes to NBA League Pass in order to watch Pels games from his base in Georgia. He will have a smile on his face tomorrow after I email him the story of tonight's game. Seeing the emotion of all the young Pelicans players who have never been to the playoffs before tonight would especially have made him happy. To do it against the Spurs when they also played at a high level, make the win even more satisfying. That is a team we have tremendous respect for as they play basketball the right way and regularly beat big market teams.

Yea, my company transferred me in Jan. to OKC! So im here pulling for the Pelicans, and wouldn't you know it comes down to us and okc for the 8th seed. It has been a pretty fun ride over here.

I drove from Lafayette to go to the game tonight. Whew, that was fun as hell. The crowd was on it's feet for most of the game. The Pels are really young and they have a bright future ahead of them.
