It's time to show up ppl. Have to show the big schools how we travel. This is a good chance to impress on and off the field.

Those were some fun tournaments, but if I remember correctly, it was very cold at one of them and we hurt some pitchers.

One of my fondest memories of college is the 2002 Classic. Chase Lambin is now our starting SS, and we play Texas in the finale on Sunday. Both teams are 2-0, and the winner is the tournament champion. Wouldn't you know it, Lambin is up in the bottom of the 9th with a runner on 3rd and the score tied. Augie Garrido decides to give the free pass to Lambin, seeing as he has hit well the whole game, and the UL crowd is on their feet. Needless to say, Garrido was worried about Lambin's ability (played for UT the season prior). UL goes on to score with the next batter and Cajuns fans are sent home happy!

Cold? I thought this tournament was always at The Astrodome or Minute Maid Park?

Should have a good showing. Only 4 hours away. And with a lot of people from Lafayette living in Houston, should be fun.

Enjoyed attending those games back then...and looking forward to doing so next year. And, yes, take a jacket with you. Was darn cold.

We need to have basketball on the road that weekend. Also do not need to worry about weather in Houston now as minute maid has a roof.
