State Football Awards Banquet each year held right here in Lafayette.
How does that help UL?
Bringing in the best high school players and coaches each year for our awards dinner allows us to show case our town and football program to player, coaches, and parents from around the state. These persons might not have known how great a community we are!
I think it definitely puts a feather in our cap! The awards will also bring attention via our State college and Saints awards.

PS: I will be attending the ESPN college football awards show Thursday night to network for our students and school. I will be wearing my UL College of Education Pin and hope to make some connections for our future events here.
