Jay sounded like he had more fun than he's had in quite some time. Said the Cajuns played their hearts out. Thanks, boys! Nice win.

I just got back from the game, and I must say, I was very impressed with how the Cajuns played. I hadn't been to a game in a couple of years and I was really expecting them to lose after all of the things I've read over the past couple of weeks. The Cajuns played with a lot of heart and they hit the big shots down the stretch when they needed to. From this game, I think that the Cajuns have potential this year.
Tyren Johnson may win player of the week in the league after today's performance of 31 points and 15 rebounds. From what I recall, he did OK in Baton Rouge on Tuesday. Someone said Jay Walker had lots of fun today. He mentioned that today's win may have been over a better team than the one we played Tuesday. From what I understand, Cajuns were short handed today due to injuries. That may have been a good think as it did not allow the coaching staff to oversubstitute, a frequent criticism of mine.
Jay did sound like he was enjoying the game; loved it when he said "Willie, don't you shoot that ball" towards the end of the game. Really good game out of Johnson w/ 31 points and impressive performance out of the Andrews kid. Five players out with injuries and a sloppy start to the game but they overcome it to get a nice road win.
The refs called a very ticky-tack game, especially in the paint. They really didn't allow the two teams to play.
We use to look at SLC games as give me games. How many here remember the American South Conference that UCF joined but couldn't hang with us? We better figure out a way to start getting our program to where it once was.
