"Teams That Raised Their Profiles: Week 3" features UL as one of the 10 teams this week. And we also got the cover photo to go along with the article.

It's a premium subscriber's article, but it basically said that they picked us to win the Sun Belt, and got flack from it from fans around the Sun Belt saying we were losing too many key players and that now the Cajuns are proving why they were picked to win the league with a big statement weekend at Alabama.

Highlighted the young pitchers showing up early and the steady bullpen. Also mentioned, Trahan, Davis, and Conrad as having nice offensive starts to the season but no mention of Thurman which is a shame.

Overall, great pub for the Cajuns here. I like where this team is headed.

Right now, I'd have two bids -- one of Arkansas State or GSU and Louisiana-Lafayette, though, I absolutely think three bids could be in play .... and how about ULM? Warhawks are coming off a clean series sweep of Sam Houston State. Fun league, it seems.

Feeling for Coach Deggs. You go from beating Monroe an awful lot to getting swept. I'm sure a lot of us here were pulling for Sam Houston for one reason or another.

I just noticed we don't have Tulane on the schedule this year… What a shame, I was getting used to beating them on a regular basis, noticed coach Pierce has them in the top 25 on D1baseball, and thought, "man, it would be nice to beat them again and notch another top 25 victory, but forgot they are Greenie Weenies"
