Wow...what a headline. Even if they ULL'ed us on the baseball side. They were ok with #5 Louisiana in softball.

There is a lot of head scratching on the part of Bama baseball watchers, especially with a pending $42 million ballpark makeover. They are only 2-4 against good teams so far. Bama will have a good RPI because of their league and are probably a regional team, but have not hosted a regional in nine years. For our sake I hope they win out until we meet them post season.

Our line up was disciplined and efficient, getting ahead and punishing Bama pitching mistakes the entire game. Alabama has a good line up, batting over .300. Leger would have beaten anybody today. Did we expose some very average pitching today? Sure, but that's what good teams do. This was a huge series win for our young team.

If u remember correctly, after we beat them last year on the Saturday...they had a little heart to heart amongst themselves and went on a tear after that. Kind of a turning point in there season. Mitch is a good guy and a good coach. He will right the ship. They did look a little under talented this year. Maybe the draft got them, maybe it's injuries. Idk.

Well graduation and the draft got us but were headed back to our old winning ways and coming together as a team. This series showed we are developing some swagger.
