Masson got hurt in the Troy game running the zone read. McGuire got hurt twice this year in very limited playing time. He is bigger and stronger than Masson.
I'm guessing Masson didn't run more becasue they were afraid he would get injured?

_ Troy is a great salesman, but he is not a closer. He can not lock down recruits and has to rely on other coaches to do so. He loves this program, but he is not the right guy for recruiting IMO. _

You hit the nail on the head, as much as i like Troy and he loves UL, i think our recruiting has been pitiful in Louisiana.. The speed difference in most of the games was amazing, even against other Sunbelt teams..

_ I don't see any staff changes coming. One of his excuses is that Walker made him fire his whole staff in 2007 and essentially "start over". These guys are all coming back... sigh. _
