I could not possibly disagree more...
With the amount of money spent per win, it's an absolute off the charts statistical anomally that we have recorded enough wins to even qualify. Same goes for ULM as well. You should be sitting there with your teeth in your mouth in utter stunned amazement that UL is bowl elidgible, this feat is like a guy wearing horn rimmed glasses and Converse high-tops winning a NASCAR race on a freakin skateboard with racing stripes and flames painted on top when compared to what some of the other qualified programs have spent in order to achieve the same results. To properly couch this for you, Coach Bustle would have to work 50+ years to earn the buyout value on Charlie Weiss's contract...
Why exactly didn't LSU deserve the national championship? They were the best team in the country all year and then won the BCS national championship game. Get a grip. Just because you love watching the Cajuns win 3-6 games a year doesn't mean you need to throw LSU into the same category. Or are you one of those Cajuns fans who thinks you have to hate LSU to exist?
No, he's one of those fans of UL who sees no need to pay any attention to any trolls from Refineryville.
lsu&a&mc@br won a national championship in a year in which they had two losses. By definition, they were not the best team in the country on two fall Saturdays. No one said they didn't 'deserve' to win it, just that them even being there required an inordinate number of dominos to all fall in exactly the right pattern. The dominos cooperated, and the tigers took care of business on the field in the NC game.
By the same token, if the Cajuns should happen to get a bowl this year because the stars all align properly, then they 'deserve' the bowl, precisely for the same reason that lsu&a&mc@br 'deserved' to be in the NC game: They met the qualifications and they were invited.
I don't get this "they didn't earn it, they don't deserve" thing.
Whose fault is it that there 30 something bowl games? Does a 5-7 SEC "deserve" to go to a bowl game more than the Cajuns.
If its available, no shame in taking advantage of it.
