So what bowls could be looking at us to fill a spot? Is there any chance what so ever that we can get into one? Could we get into the indy bowl? I know Troy is in the Nola bowl and Im assuming that Middle will go to papajohns but where could we fit in? HELP!!

Slim with 7 wins at best, zero at 6-6

As I heard Jay Walker explain it last night, after all BCS bids are given, at-large bids will be given to teams with 7 and better wins. After all those are given, there will be 1 at-large slot left with 4 teams fighting for it: UL, ULM, UCLA, and Notre Dame. Odds are somewhere between slim and none that we'd get chosen over UCLA or Notre Dame.

With Notre Dame, Weis will be fired. Notre Dame has passed on a bowl game before. That betters our odds. If its the GMAC bowl that is last to pick, maybe they look at us as a good regional option to UCLA. I dunno im fishing for any chance here. Also, Marshall has fired their coach after going 6-6, maybe they might also turn down a bowl bid like Bowling Green did last year.
