These boys played with heart. Down 24-0, most teams would shutter it and call it a day. Does anyone realize we did what no sun belt team could do, take all of what Troy had and swung back and hit just as hard. Guaranteed, no illegal formation penalty on the halfback pass, we really might have won the game. Have some pride. Even Middle couldnt do what we did. With the advantages Troy has, no one can stand up to em. But we did. Open admissions and no APR penalties make Troy a haven for miscreants and thugs that were booted from other programs or too stupid to make it at a real school. They showed that with their personal foul penalties how classless they are. The Sun Belt should step in and do something about that.

Our Boys played with tremendous heart. Im thankful for these boys. They made this day special, regardless of loss or win. I made it a point, even though it was my wedding day to come out on Senior Day and cheer for my alma mater. Decked out in a tux, wife in wedding gown, we made it, late, but we made it. This team still deserves a bowl. Regardless of what some of the negative nellies say. To deny this team, who lost bonafied once in a lifetime offensive players and still win 6 games, what a group. The predictions at the beginning of the season were bleak, but we matched last season. That says alot about our boys. Heart. Grit. Determination. Be proud to be a cajun.

Thank you CajunHawk, this is something I was hoping to read this morning instead of doom and gloom.
I too, saw a team play with pride, something I saw last year. I can not and will not demean this team and the coaching staff. Mistakes were made, some plays Troy made made us look bad, but we did make Troy work for it.
They are a dirty team but talented one. They are the Miami of the Sunbelt.
SO, in closing, My best wishes to those Seniors, get your degree, hold your head up high, and don't forget to come back and support your Brothers on the field unlike so many usl/ul grads who have abandoned their alma mater.
To those returning players, work hard and lets get em next year.

Yeah I was in the student section and Troy has no discipline whatsoever, they were talking as much as the students were, that goes from the players, trainers, managers, the cheerleaders, and even the band. I know I am suppose to go for them for the conference in the bowl game but it is really going to be hard to, that is one, no THE most classless program I have ever seen. One of the main ones was a guy who wasnt playing last night for... fighting. That program is nothing but thugs, its a shame that a program that good, I can have no respect for. They showed a glimpse of this going back to last year if you will remember when they had the kicker who looked like he was 12 years old kicking and throwing his helmet all around after the New Orleans Bowl, like I said, no respect for this program or anybody directly associated inside the program that has anything to say in it, there were administrators right there next to them watching the whole thing.

My wife noticed you guys walking along the top of concourse across the back of the endzone. I had to give up my binoculars so she and Z's wife could check out the wedding gown. LOL!

Troy along with ASU and ULM are exempt due to being schools with "diminished resources". Check out the last QB Club notes on UL Today for a detailed explanation, but it has a great deal to do with a certain percentage of your students receiving government assistance such as PELL Grants. It does seem ridiculous that a school, in this case two of the three mentioned, with a larger athletic budget should get a break for their athletes' academic requirements under the guise a lack of resources.
