I'm confused. Better pull your head out the sand. You are going to tell me that you are going to try and come home on and intentional walk and hope that it works. Man give me a break.

I agree but you also don't have to be a senior to be a leader, there are some young guys with Fire on this team, if the veterans don't want to hopefully the young guys grab the horns.

Per Coach Bab...squeeze should have been "off" and there was a miscommunication

And it was a pitchout not intentional walk, they called the pitchout to see if they could get clement to break for home.

I didn't hear bab, but knowing that staff for what it is, no way he is still supposed to be running on the 4 wide. 3rd base coach dropped the ball. Period.

I was present for every pitch. That game was not "baseball being baseball". We failed to execute fundamental baseball last night. We failed to get clutch hits. We failed out young pitchers, who threw one hell of a game, granted against an anemic lineup. Gunner Leger was in a groove at one point, where hitters didn't have a CHANCE. Very encouraging.

Now, the 'Pokes put a couple arms on the mound that we're quality pirchers. But their offense produced 5 runs, 3 should have never happened. Greg Davis was excellent at first and has been the majority of the young year. That first error was on the catcher.

The balk was also a gift, and IMO should have never been called. You can't make that call in that situation. I'll take it, but it was bush league. And after that, Fontenot looked lost at the plate.

Pitching was encouraging. But we have a long way to go in order to be a well rounded, solid club. Early on, this club reminds me of 2013. Talent is obvious, but need to do the small things much better.

Briggs was my pitcher last year. Made tonight very bittersweet for me.

Last night was so frustrating, yet, so promising.

After a night to sleep on it, I feel much better about this squad than I did before the McNeese game.

Yeah, last night was a punch in the gut. Something tells me, however, the boys will be ready for a scrap in Alabama.

-------Been away from the game for a while but we always had a return sign from the batter and the runner and coach----- So all 3 and really the whole team knew it was on and I guess he should have thrown the bat at the ball---is that legal??
