Bc he's not our best hitter. He's our best fielder...except for tonight. He needs to deflate his head a little and be who he is.

There's still 50+ games left. We have the arms, we have the bats. Need to clean up the defense and put it all together.
Sun Belt medicine not that far away.
It hurts when you lose but not knowing the outcome beforehand is what makes sports exciting.
Losing to Brokeback never a feels good, but this will he a non issue come seasons end.
I don't like losing no matter who we play. I'm not the least bit concerned it was McNeese. They play competitive baseball. This game allowed us to put a lot of extra work in. Work we needed. We made a lot of mistakes and Tony has plenty of evidence last night that a lot of things need more tuning up. It isn't how you start the season... it's how you finish.

At least 3 with only 1 out.
It was good to get the extra work in, but the concern wasn't on the mound last night, it shifted to the plate and the play in the field. Multiple lapses in simple fundamentals where killer. Added to that the fact that we lost and you have a dangerous mental mix going into an important series. Let's hope they recover because last night was brutal.
