Don't look now, but the Sun Belt pendulum might finally be turning the way of the UL Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team.

Great
You really have to give it to Marlin for turning this program around.
Express & C4L, I'm kidding!! Don't go off on me! Haha
I won't, look I want nothing more than for the Cajuns to win and win big. There are something like 9 non P5 schools in the Top 25. So I know that it can be done, but expectations must be raised. Hell we might sneak into to big dance and then what? Marlin hasn't been successful Imo over his tenure. Now back to back appearances may spring board this program, but his recruiting has been very poor.
Hopefully we can get some momentum and keep it throughout the tournament.
I feel sorry for Buckley having to write this article. He knows and we know they will play one good game, one bad game and one mediocre game over the next 3. The only questions are the order of the games and can they pull out a win when they play their mediocre game.
It looks up when a strong finish carries over into multiple good seasons. This should be the sport that can achieve this and it really hasn't for a long time.
What happened to the days of Bo Lamar and Andrew Toney? That's when we reloaded rather than flopped and improved in standalone seasons.
I will say that many of tournament teams found early success getting hot at the right time (ie win streak to end the season).
