I'm counting on the Cajuns to win. It's improbable but not impossible. I'm hoping the team comes out fired up and keeps the intensity for the whole game. I mean why not, we have nothing to lose, play with passion and break out whatever tricks we have because this is it. It's all or nothing, and we are tired of nothing. If the team comes out flat for this one, something is wrong and it will need to be corrected. I'm thinking, it's all on the line, we win, Coach Bustle stays, we lose, he goes.
Geaux UL!
Just to add, I'm looking forward to being there, supporting my team and witnessing that elusive 7th win.
I just don't see us winning.
Troy 41
Cajuns 17
Troy 45 - Cajuns 17, not close. These programs are on different levels.
While I'd love to predict a win here and by all means I hope for one, I have to say that we are on different levels at this time and have to go with Troy:
Troy = 41
Cajuns = 24
The cajuns will be game and keep the game close for a while but Blakeney makes the adjustments at half that Bustle seems to be unable to do and pulls away late in the third.
Troy comes in flat and the Cajuns are fired up in front of the home field crowd, its a nail biter but cajuns pull it out in the end
I hope you are correct but I don't see a scenario that includes Troy being flat. They want this win badly. They are not only playing for an undefeated league record and sure bowl birth but they are also playing to get that 9th win and possibly a better bowl bid. I don't see them overlooking us at all.
Troy already has the sure bowl berth, but the team will be very pumped up. It was their #1 goal to go undefeated in conference for the first time since joining SBC. I bet they come in fired up to accomplish their season-long goal. Troy 44, UL 24.
BTW, how do yall think the crowd will be?
I was reading through Troys game notes that are found with the link that andrepourciau posted on another thread.

As I read through Troys game notes, I was hoping to find any weaknesses that I could use to silently coach the Cajuns from my seat in the stadium. I found an interesting bit of information about five of the coaches:
In the past year coaches Brown, Rowell, Scott, Parker and Schlarman have welcomed new additions to their families.
I thought that was interesting so I asked my husband,
Did you know that five of Troys coaches had babies this year!
Do you know what he had to say about that?
He said, I didnt know Troy had so many female football coaches.
Silly me!
He got me on that one.
