Cajundome 7:05 p.m.

● Louisiana closes out a season-opening, three-game homestand Tuesday, Nov. 24 hosting the University of Mobile at the Cajundome. Tipoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
● Through two games this season, Louisiana has seen at least five players score double figures each game. Will that trend continue tonight?
● Junior Travis Bureau needs only three (3) more triples to reach 100 in his career.
● Randell Daigle reached career point No. 500 in the Cajuns last outing. Tonight, UL takes to the floor with three (3), 500-point scorers (Gradnigo and Bureau the others).
● UL and Mobile meet for just the second time in school history and first time since Dec. 17, 2003 (Cajuns won 110-65).
● Tonight's game marks the Cajuns first action in eight days - last game was Monday, Nov. 16 vs. Louisiana College.
● Louisiana seeks its first 2-1 start since the 2004-05 season.
● Tuesday's game is one of just three remaining non-conference games at the Cajundome this season. Tulane (Dec. 21) and Centenary (Dec. 28) are the other remaining non-conference games.
● Louisiana has protected the ball at the start of the season. The Cajuns are averaging 12 turnovers per game and opponents have collected only two steals.

LOUISIANA COLLEGE LEFTOVERS
● For the second straight game the Cajuns placed at least five players in double figures scoring. Six reached double digits led by Randell Daigle's 19.
● The first half was close as LC shot 46% (11-of-24) and UL 36% (12-of-33). It was the reverse in the second half as UL shot 53% (18-of-34) and LC 28% (7-of-25).
● Each player that dressed out saw playing time. It was the second time in less than a week that happened - each player dressed played against West Alabama.
● UL held a decisive 46-14 edge on points in the paint. Adding in the 30 points in the paint vs. Southern Miss, the Cajuns are averaging 38 points per game in the paint.

LAST TIME VS. MOBILE (Dec. 17, 2003 in Cajundome - UL won 110-65)
● All five Cajuns starters scored double figures led by Laurie Bridges' 21 points.
● Louisiana shot above 50 percent in both halves which included making 21-of-33 shots (63 percent) in the second half.
● The visitors stayed within striking distance nearly midway through the second half thanks in part to shooting 50 percent in the opening half. UL led 55-41 at the break.
● With 12:17 left in the game, Seluynn Palmer knocked down a 22-foot jumper at the top of the key to cut the Rams deficit to 72-56. That would be the final basket for UM until the 3:54 mark.
● UL then used a 29-0 run beginning with a Cedric Williams inside bucket at the 12:05 mark half to break open the contest. A Dwayne Mitchell dunk with 4:33 left to play capped off the run and gave UL a 101-56 edge.

UL BASKETBALL REACHES A MILESTONE AT THE CAJUNDOME
● It might be hard to believe, but Louisiana men's basketball is currently playing in the 25th anniversary season at the Cajundome.
● The facility opened its doors on Nov. 22, 1985 and since then a total of 339 regular season games have been contested.
