Josh, your categorization of McGuire as a "run-first" QB is not a true picture of his talents. Yes with the plays they are using McGuire in that is his assignment--Run. He has not been given the chance to throw the ball this year by this coaching staff. So this 'run-first' thing is a little miss leading. Just my observations.

    Shh!!!!

Josh is intentionally putting out misinformation to baffle the Troy folks.

We know Brad's got a good arm. He showed it last year when he played in place of Mike.

Just hope we can see some more of it (and the rest of Brad) in the regular season finale.

I think Brad throwing a pass or two would be smart. No way Troy would be expecting it.

You have to get him in the game for him to throw a pass. He only gets put in the game on late down short yardage. We may get behind and require a sparkplug... and Brad is definitely a sparkplug. I have a feeling, one way or another, that we will see Brad this weekend... more than just trying to push it across the 1st down marker.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm going off the numbers and how he's been used this season. Brad has been at his best this year as a runner. But it doesn't mean that he can't throw.

Well I still think Brad is our best option at QB, regardless of what stats Masson has put up. Even if Chris is slightly better at throwing the ball, which I seriously doubt. Chris is one dimensional. He can not or will not run the ball and his inability to run has killed our running game. At least we know what Brad can do running the ball and we have seen him perform with the game on the line. I honestly believe that we have 2 more victories with Brad at the Helm than Masson.
