Offers from North Florida and Charleston, don't exactly say a whole lot about him. If we keep recruiting football and basketball players that are second tier level, we will keep doing what we've now been doing for several years.

Normally I would agree with you, but I don't necessarily have a problem with getting the "second tier" guys. The key is having coaches who can actually coach and develop the second tier guys. That is where we fall short in football and basketball.

Yeah Bobby Cremmins offered him. He has no clue what he is doing, but you who have never seen the kid play no he is a second tier player. Who offered Fenroy? who offered Bo McCalleb?

On the flip side, look at all the higher tier players we have gotten, Jordan Jackson, Deon Wallace. Recruiting is an inexact science, we don't get guys that Miami, Florida, and Florida State want.

Based on the various prep and college coaches I've talked with, these two players would have gotten additional offers by the spring from some bigger programs. I think both are steals for the Cajuns. Whether they will be known as steals will depend on how they produce in college. As for the headline, I didn't write it but didn't have any problem with it.
