Thread: Softball pitcher from Rosepine, Christina Hamilton

Default Softball pitcher from Rosepine, Christina Hamilton

Did she sign with the Cajuns today? The Lake Charles American Press said today that she was expected to sign with UL. I had always thought she was a commitment to LSU?

She signed today. Hamilton and Chenault give the Cajuns two really good power arms.

Her commitment to LSU got shaky a few weeks ago. Makes for an interesting pitching rotation in 2011.

Really interesting. The Hamilton, Chenault and the girl from Central.

How about if Brignac redshirts this year? Not saying she is, but that would be very interesting in 2011.

Christina actually considers herself a "movement" pitcher, not a power pitcher. Throws in high 50s.

She's been clocked higher then that my friend. She is similar to Donna B., but certainly has enough gas.

T, that's straight from Christina herself. She said she doesn't throw 64, more around 57-58. She doesn't just line up and fire it past people.

Can't say what she has said, coach Defio has said she can get it up around 60. Those numbers a pretty close, either way we have two pitchers that were offered by SEC softball programs. This class is very similar to the Class of Brignac and Bourgeois in quality. I don't know if this class will be ranked as high as 5th in the nation, but it could be ranked in the top 20 when it is all said and done.
