I also understand your frustration. I suggest sending an e-mail to those in charge letting them know (in a reasonably civil manner). It lets the admin know in no uncertain terms the pulse of the fanbase. I sent such an e-mail to Mr. Farmer after the FIU loss expressing my dissatisfaction and expectations for a higher bar to be set by the university. It took a couple of weeks (the man is understandably busy) but he did reply. While the actions the admin takes after the season will speak louder than words it was still an improvement over the previous regime to even receive an acknowledgement.

It's really hard to get behind this team. Against Southern Mississippi, we had a UP threaten to throw us out for yelling at USM's players. No one cursed but she said we were being rude and threatened to kick us out if we didn't stop. So maybe someone should have a talk with the UP working these games.

You disagree with me stating any diehard fan would never want their program to lose games to fire a coaching staff? All other the stuff I can understand, that reasoning I can't stomach!

_ I agree with you, T...by the way, when's the last winning record we've had in football? 1993? When's the last bowl game? When's the last time we won our first game in the Sun Belt Tourney? My comment was out of line. But this one isn't: we are losers, and we will continue to be losers for the forseeable future. In football, and in basketball. Show me something that points to optimism. We have a shiny new scoreboard, and a fancy turf field, and crappy teams to showcase on top of it. I'm just sick of pretending, that's all. It's time to be real. I love Robert Lee, and I was happy he got the call when he did. I wish him nothing but success, despite my frustrated comment. But let's not kid ourselves. We are small time, and small time is where we're going to be for a while.

jllanclos, I've read enough of your posts to know you are a diehard fan. Again, its that one statement of wanting to lose just to get rid of a coach or coaching staff that I can't stomach from Cajun fans. That mindset is for losers. You never trade off a win, for the sake of firing coaches.

We struggled early against a Div. III school and lost at home to USM who lost by 10 last night to SE Missouri State. This is going to be a l-o-n-g year, AGAIN. Maybe UNO is on to something.
