i heard someone on the radio say that the tiggers would actually have to flesh out their squad with walk-ons. no depth at all there.
Mike, I'm not sure we can or will beat either LSU and USM. But, here is a little inside story that no one posting in this thread knows and lends some credence to Larry E. comments on Trent Johnson. Coach Johnson called this summer are tried to get out of the game against UL, so he must think we have enough talent.
The walk-on comment is true about LSU. An example of how little depth it has.
LSU trying to get out of that game probably has less than to do with UL being good and more to do with the Tigers being short-handed.

Well then this situation has me slightly pumped...
It sounds like the Southern Miss game will expose our deficiencies and then we have Louisiana College, Mobile College, and McNeese State for the next three games to correct our problems and perfect a hopefully consistent offense. On Dec 1 after the McNeese State game we go to LSU and will have a decent chance of...........BEATING THEM!
I don't care if they are not ranked and not expected to do much...it will be an opportunity to do something against the brand name of "LSU". In my book that is a confidence booster and I'm going to be there for the opportunity to walk out with a smile.
All the nay sayers will talk down the game before and after, but.....I DON'T CARE!
I for one will enjoy this moment.... I need something to look forward to...
