_ The Sun Belt did not turn out to be particularly strong after the season played out so judging from Troy's non conference loss to Bowling Green, I would say no. I think they are good and if they can beat Arkansas then maybe, but as of now they have no quality wins to put them in there. _

I don't really see anything wrong with his assessment. The day I see a Sun Belt team ranked that lost to BGSU is the day Santa Claus flies out of my left ear.

you see thats the point noone really knows if they would even breeze past La Tech. I mean yeah they could but they have been playing great football against the conference but the conference is having a down year. The only thing they can be judged by is Bowling Green and Arkansas this week. I mean UF is good so you can't really fault them too bad for that one.

La Tech has a chance to do really well against LSU this week ---All the stars are in the correct position---After the Bama lost their goals are gone and they are pretty banged up I think ---so the Dogs get their chance!!!

If Troy wins out they're going to be ranked coming to Lafayette!!! they recieved a vote (1) this week in the AP Top 25. i, for one, hope troy wins out because having a game that means something at the end of the year would be good for our attendance and for the Sunbelt as a whole.

Best case senario, Troy loses one conference game between now and our game, Cajuns win out. That way our game vs Troy could put us back in the New Orleans Bowl.

I know it is wishfull thinking, but I will be in town and can finally see my Cajuns play again live.

I already thought of this, Troy only has 2 conference games left, FAU (in troy) and us in Lafayette. We need schnelly to pull a rabbit out of his Arse, not likely, but then again I wouldn't put it past him to go into the Troy game with a hellacious game plan.
