Yep. Heard that he was going to sign with the Cajuns despite not qualifying. Makes sense for him. Has a strong chance of getting drafted.
With Anderson going JUCO, the Cajuns now have seven verbal commitments and will sign nine recruits for next season. Two more targets are mulling over their decision.
They won't add another prospect to replace Anderson, who is rated the nation's 176th-best prospect in the Class of 2010 for the upcoming draft.
Who are our peers recruiting wise? Are we competing with the houstons and southern miss type schools?

I read Josh's blog on our recruits and it doesn't look like any recruit was offered by a team outside of the Southland. Why was no other team after them? We haven't done so well in baseball lately. Is recruiting the reason? Are these guys the answer? I don't know, just asking.
In many cases, the Cajuns were the first team to offer these guys. They ended the process early because they want to be here. There are also connections with some of the players (family, coaches, etc.) that allowed the program to have an inside track during recruiting.
