Anyone making the trip to Murfreesboro?

Yep, we are going to Murfreesboro! The hubby and In-laws will be there. We went to the UL vs MT game two years ago, too. That was fun because we first went to the UL vs Tennessee game in Knoxville. Then we vacationed for a week and went to the UL vs MT game on our way back home. We didn't win either game, but still had a blast.

I know some folks will think that I am wack-o , but...if we go to the N.O. bowl (with or without UL), I plan on going to two big ballgames that weekend, too. The Saints vs Cowboys game is in the Super Dome on the day before the N.O. bowl.

We will be making the trip also and tailgating with the Krewe de Blue. When I get time today, I will put some info on where we will be. Krewe de Blue are an awesome group to tailgate with.

Trust me. This is the away game that you will want to tailgate for. You will not meet a nice bunch of opposing fans. We are treated like kings when we go to the Boro.

We will be tailgating off of Greenland Drive with the Krewe de Blue ... http://www.krewedeblue.com/ .. Just look for the white school bus. Last time we were up there, they let us fly our UL flag on top of the bus. I am sure we will do the same this year.

If I'm not mistaken we have beaten MT the last two times we have played them up there. Been to both games watching my sons play and will be there to watch again.

Actually, its last 3 times going all the way back to 2003 when Jerry Babb broke onto the scene in one of the most intense games in UL history. In fact, since 2003, we have won 5 of our 6 meetings against MT, I don't know what it is, but UL always plays well against them.
