Make no mistake about it....... this year's MT vs. Cajun game is huuuge for both programs.

I have heard that if we hadn't beaten ya'll last year that we would have gone bowling (we would have lost the bowl game). Not due to Wright Waters, however.

Disappointed bigtime that Shreveport screwed you guys over.

Wonder what kind of "ironclad" bowl chances the SBC has this year.

    Twice, actually.

Jake's two Big West co-championships. Of course we stayed home instead of the Vegas Bowl.

    Which is why co-championships suck.

I don't think there is any question that the cajuns can beat the Blue Raiders. Whether they will or not depends on which Cajun team shows up. The one from Arkansas State or FAU.

If the Cajuns can finish their drives this week, they should be 6-4.

    Anything is possible.

Of course I'm sure Bustle will figure out how to win now that Troy pretty much wrapped up the conference.

He'll do what it takes to keep his job.

Where was that attitude against FAU / FIU?

So, do us a favor - give us this one, but please beat ULM. _
I saw that Troy got some votes in a couple of polls this week putting them amongst the top 30 teams in the nation!!!! Oh to go to the NO Bowl ---The Cajuns would bring 15- 20K!!!!!

do you think that a 10-2 troy team would get an outside bowl bid from another bigger bowl leaving the nola bowl open to the #2 team in the sbc? that means that if we win out and end up #2 since we would have beaten ULM and MTSU that we would move into that slot. just a thought and please anyone correct me if my thought process is wrong here

IF Troy were offered a bigger bowl game and accepted it, the N.O. Bowl would not be required (as I understand it) to take SBC #2, but if we are in that position when the time comes, we would be in a good position to promote the CAJUNS for that game, particularly from an attendance standpoint. From that perspective, I don't see the New Orleans Sports Foundation making the same mistake those redneck boneheads in Shreveport did last year!!!
