Why is Acadiana and Lafayette playing on Thursday?

might have something to do with the shortage of available game referees. they've had to go to more thursday games in the last couple of years because of this reason. that's my guess.

At Breaux Bridge, we usually volunteer to play week 10 on a Thursday to have an extra day of preparation for the playoffs. I believe all teams are asked to play a home game on Thursday at some point.

I think all the schools were asked to consider moving 1 game to a Thursday night. I guess Acadiana chose to move the LHS game.
