---My buddy went from Colorado-UL-Lamar-NCSU-Philly Star??-Saints--New England-USC--Jacksonville--Cleveland---USC--Cleveland---Seattle----Well something like that----Anyway there is so much that goes into it like friendship, who you know, why you know them, what is available, where you can be happy, money , family, Age, future jobs, etc---So he and Pete Carroll met as off and Def coordinators at NCSU and wind up with an NCAA championship and 2 Super Bowls!!!
Nope..never have I ever told anyone to sit down. Never will. I simply stand up if I want to see. If I get to the point I can't stand I will search for a seat that I can see with out standing....that will probably be my living room!
So let's not assume something you know nothing about.
Apperntly u didn't read the post. The Mike LB was responsible covering the middle not the safety and the scheme that was called was probably the correct one if the Mike LB would have dropped dropped into coverage rather than sticking his nose in the play action. Maybe if he would have dropped back into coverage Juice could have got to him. Maybe if he would have dropped into coverage and pressured he would have tried to force a pass and it ends up intercepted for a pick 6, maybe we get another fumble recovery for a TD by a DL...the point is that there are so many variables that go into plays that many many people either refuse to look at or just don't know better. I for one would pay attention in the QB club meeting when Hud was getting drilled about the D and made an effort to look at the D in terms of what he was trying to explain and actually learn what the call were and who was responsible for what.
You remember that pick 6 riles returned? He was in the wrong place at the right time. He actually blew his assignment and got lucky. Why is that....the DL was on that dudes ___ and he made a mistake.
Sometimes the D can do everything right and still give up a play because the other team just made a good play. It happens.
Did Coach Willis deserve some of the blame for things..sure...did the players..sure, but I think one has to be realistic when dealing with kids in college no matter how good or bad they are. They have to grow up some time and there are only so many Bo Jacksons the will ever surface in ones life time.
