Thread: UL DC Willis Takes NFL Job

I am all for a little good hearted smack talk just like the next guy about days of the past in high school, but all kidding aside I still believe we can find better coaching talent in the collegiate ranks rather than the high school ranks.

I just know that a lot of high school coaching positions are secondary to their teaching positions at their respective schools. Whereas the collegiate coaching jobs are just that, their full-time jobs. For this reason, I am going with the collegiate level coaches because their focus everyday is just football, not getting teaching plans in then worrying about if they have lunch duty then after all that comes football.

I may be wrong though. Hud could pull some high school coach. Who knows? Not I!!! : )

I would take Mike Desormeaux as a position coach in a second.

Gus Malzhan, Hugh Freeze and Art Briles would like to talk to you for a second. I'm not saying hire a guy from the high school ranks to be our HC but you can find some very good high schools coaches that would be good position/coordinators at the college level. Look all around the college ranks right now and you will find a ton of guys whose career started at the high school level.

Not really sure what to think of this, whether it is good or bad for us.

    Something is up......

First Stewart was a lame duck coach aftet the UNT game in 2012

    Willis quit last year

    Sanders leaves the program

    Robowe gets the NSU gig!!!

    Williams leaves the program

Willis quits again....or he was another lame duck coach mid season?????

Something is up within the staff? This is a pattern not a coincidence.

We slowly lost our entire staff in a year. No one thanked HUD for the opportunity?
