_ You really think that the Walker kid from Mamou is going to be a difference maker? As far as future recruits, they see what is going on here. Why would a player want to come to UL with a program that can barely break over .500? And to come to play for a coach in the last year of his contract? The immediate future is not a bright one. _

Why would a kid want to go to Troy? I think the town should be used for short range missile testing. Why would a kid want to go to USM? Although Hattiesburg is getting better it is still a poor dunk little town. What do they all have in common? They were dedicated to building their football program. We are not.

_ now we play again 2 on the road and 2 at home, but this time it is against the Sunbelt BEST...........what are we going to do Bustle?????

The majority of Bustles teams have tailed off the 2nd half of the season, WHY?


If Bustle and company tailspin again this season, I WILL NOT BUY SEASON TICKETS IF THIS ADMINISTRATION KEEPS HIM HERE NEXT SEASON!!!!!!!!!!

I like Bustle the person but it is over with me and many I know as a Coach. We have had two home and two away games against the 4 worst teams in the belt and went 2-2, now 2 road and 2 home against the best, LET's SEE BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD!!!!!! _

I think the most telling stat about the coaching staff so far this year is that in the second half of games we have been outscored 110-57, and been held to 3 points or less in the second half 4 times. If you take away the Southern game, we have put up 43 points in the second half this year. That is pretty pathetic. Every time a game is close at half, I always have a sick feeling that we will come out and try and do the same old crap after halftime, while the other team has made adjustments and they walk out with a win....and Cajun fans generally are never surprised when this happens.

I drive in from Houston for every home game year in and year out. I have 5 season tickets for just my wife and myself. I send a monthly donation to RCAF...........I AM STARTING TO WONDER WHY I DO THESE THINGS. When your die hard fans are starting to walk away from the program, then you have big problems. People will say that we can't afford to fire Bustle and pay off the remainder of his contract and hire a new coach. I say how can we afford to NOT make a change. Before the FAU game, I predicted that if we lost, we wouldn't win another game this year. I was hoping that I was going to be wrong, but I just don't see anyway that we rebound from the last two weeks. We will be lucky to draw 10,000 fans against Troy and ULM. The 10,000 in the stands are the backbone of our athletic department. I feel like if a change is not made and a new direction taken that those 10,000 are going to turn their back on UL athletics and we will never recover.

_ you don't actually think the administration will put out the money to buy out his contract, do you? as i've said before, he will serve out his contract. we just have to assure the players that we are still behind them. it's gonna be a fine line to walk, knowing how many of us feel about the coaching staff, yet not letting the players feel that they will be going through a lame duck year of head coaching. let's let this season play out first. we still need for these guys to do some decent recruiting. we'll have the walker kid from mamou coming on board next year, plus the rest of the class. we can't be perceived as just dooming the rest of this year, and all of next season. then, the next thing we'll know is that we are going to get the blame for failure for our being so pessimistic and negative. we all know how that game is played. _
