I love UL as much as everyone else does but seriously.........Who would really want this job????
I hate to be negative but the last two hires have been troublesome because i don't think anyone really wants the job. The salary is small, the budget is small, attendance is dwindling, and the students don't support athletics either.
I truly hope that when Bustle is gone that we can get a quality coach for the job and not some plug because he was the only person that could be convinced to take the job.
About 10,000 people if they thought they had a shot.
There are only around 120 FBS jobs in the world, and coaches dream at night about getting one.
For the same reason that most brain dead 3-4 star athletes sign with BCS talent graveyards (they think they will start) every coach thinks he can succeed at the next level.
Geaux Cajuns
especially since they're making it harder for students to get accepted at ULL now. when i was going to college you had to have a 21 on the ACT, now its a 24. idk if the high schools got better or what but if they are trying to be like LSU with education and credibility its definately gonna hurt the athletics.
I somehow thought you were currently in college...it is weird how I have a mental picture of each of the members on this forum.
My opinion...It is great to have higher admission standards.
Yes, Louisiana high schools are trying to improve on the product they produce, which is a good thing, too.
The Good-Tech, monroe, and Tulane lost-------the Bad-We lost----The Ugly---I hope not, but could be the next 4 games!!!!!
