I am sure J-Town meant his statement not in a way to say anything negative about coach Cook, but to say he does a HELL of alot with not many college type players. J-Town is a very positive person.

No just the opposite. Coach Cook is a great coach. I was saying he has done alot with very few D1 prospects!

I couldn't agree more, I've seen the kid play and he reminds allot me of Jacob Cutrera in high school. IMO this is a great catch. Work ethic goes a long way.

_____ Berken. OL who started for a few season for Rice U.

Who else am I missing? This is not a very impressive list. This says alot about Coach Cook. _
David Berken. The 5th was a Comeaux (can't think of first name) who went to LSU as an OL, but came down with some type of stomach illness and had to leave football after 2 years there.

Imagine what he could do with 105 D1 players!

Notre Dame coach Lewis Cook knows he's a bit biased on the subject, but he's also convinced he's right.

"If I was still coaching and recruiting the area at UL, I would have tried to sign Jacob (Molbert) and Hunter (Stover) in the spring. I realize that I'm biased. I get to see them in practice every day, but those two guys can play."

It may be fall now, but the Ragin' Cajun football coaches agree with Cook on at least one of them, if not both.

I like the idea of signing the Stover kid. I have said all along that he has been out playing the kid who has committed to LSU at the LB position all season. Stover could also kick off and reach the endzone, that is worth a scholarship by itself!
